I've had my car for a year and I've never realize that I didnt have a boot light. ANyone got a spare boot light switch? Since we are talkin abt it, does the glovebox compartment have a light?
There isn't a standard light in the glovebox compartment mate ;)

BJ wrote:bey bro, thanks at least now my car looks good like yours =) the panel shop is at 5/8 Brand Drive Thomastown, number: 94658111. The part number for the boot latch is: MR152421. Not sure if you need to call Mitsubishi because they asked for my VIN number first before i could get the part number, Mitsubishi's Heidelberg number: 94581222. By the way, if you want it brand new from mitsubishi, it cost now $110 bucks, so ask dstocks if he has a spare 1, his the man with the parts =) Here's some pics, hope this helps. I haven't seen May for a long time, me & my gf went out with her, her hubby & her son for dinner ages ago. We should go on a cruise =) take care bro

Hmm, my boot light has never worked. Just had a quick look, and the white part you labeled 'boot switch' does not appear to be there on my car. 8O

What does this mean? Someone has taken it out?

It should be under a long plastic cover that clips over the latch

yeah, my boot light finally works!!!

No it wasn't a broken bulb, no it wasn't a broken boot switch!!! It was just the wire attach to the switch wasn't connected!!!

So i've got a spare boot switch & latch together which i bought off dstock, if anyone wants it, it'll be $30 + postage LOL
