RPW Extractors

Post by AMACHA »

Just grabed these off nvr2low the rpw extractors and just wanted to know, since the downpipe 2.5inch and my piping and cat is 2.75inch do flanges need to be made up or is there an adapter what is the cheapest option here?Oh and can it be fitted by yourself or do you need a mechanic to fit it?

If the gas is flowing from 2.5 into 2.75 then I wouldn't worry about changing flanges, just bolt it up.

Having said that, if your cat is aftermarket, the mounting holes maybe differnet to stock... so you might need to head to an exhaust shop & get them to cut off the mating flange & tack it back on at the appropriate angle.

If the cat mating flange is ok, then yes, its all just a bolt on job. A cock of a job, but a bolt on job. Be prepared to have a bucket load of WD40 on hand & remember, its much easier to get at the rear bank header with the intake manifold off.
