Checked all the pulley's alignment and i could find anything out. I also checked for play in any of the pulleys and i didn't find anything there either... ive got a 4pk belt on the p/s in a bid to try and save the alternator belt if the p/s belt tries to through again (no doubt it will soon)
Im thinking at this point im left with 2 options:
1) Replace the p/s tensioner and hope that its the problem and that this fixes everything
2) The car goes to a mechanic.. which at this point if they deduce its the harmonic balancer and insist on mitsu parts, i'll have to sell my eyes
So now for question time at the zoo
1. Is it worth trying to replace the p/s tensioner in a bid that this is the problem?
2. Is MD366344 the part number for p/s tensioner and does anyone no the part number for the harmonic balancer?
3.Does anyone no a mechanic that wont charge me through the arse to take a look at my car, 2nd to that perhaps one that will accept non mitsu parts and has maybe seen an fto before?
Sorry for all the questions, im just starting to come out at a lose as to what i can do. Im also becoming desperate to get my car working again
