So what does everyone have planned for their car in the new year ?

For me its not much;
1. Get some nice rims
2. get a new boot lid
3. Get some leatherette seat covers.

1. Get car here
2. Get the 6a13tt in and running sweet
3. Not lose my license :lol:

1) Clutch
2) get rid of weird noise we think is something to do with the timing belt
3) get rid of weird gear noises from 4th and 5th
4) decent rubber
5) fix side skirts
6) fix front bar
7) detail car
8) new stepper motor
9) move battery to boot


Oh and 1) get a decent job so I can afford all this :( :cry: :cry: :cry:

EDIT: remembered some more :roll:

Replace front right headlight (cracked)
Repair/replace front bumper
Replace rear bumper
Replace front left quarter panel
Respray
Replace suspension
Finally put letherette seat covers on
Install new speakers
Install clear side indicators
Fix oil leak (probably wait until 200k service)

All I can think of at the moment :roll:
LED ALL the things.

1. takeout another 20kgs :lol:
2. bonnet and side vents
3. more power (as soon as my tuner opens up again after the holidays) :twisted:
4. hit the 140-150kws atws

not a lot to ask for :roll: :lol:

1. fix scratched tinted windows when car was reapired (not my fault)
2. fix broken sunroof
3. rims
4. get dvd player n hook it up to the TV antennas collecting spiderwebs on back windscreen
5. meet some of the people ho are on this wonderful website
6. change parkers, headlights n fog lights to all be the same colour

for me ...
1. not overtake cars on the left lane when i see "merge lane in 200m" trying to look like a sickunt :lol:
2. not lose my provsional license and save up a lot of money for a wrx for my 18th bday (or dc5r if im able to get financing :D )
3. keep my fto in the club!

1)Buy a Honda Jazz for transport
2)Make my FTO fit for track days

probably wont be able to fulfil the 1st one...but im working on the 2nd one! :lol:

Finally put the sway bar back in.
leather seats from max
Finish installing the stereo
Sideskirts

If budget permits, then extra's are

New rims - Light Weight

Maybe buy some rubber for the track as well.

1. Install and Tune Haltech Interceptor.
2. Re-upholstering rear seat to match rest of interior.
3. Add vents to front guards
4. Find me a Ts Factory style facelift front bar
5. Fit and spray front bar and the DCuatro side skirts ive picked up.

I think that pretty much covers all the things I want to do actually. After this, the car will be FINISHED:D

Oh and build the Ute. Shouldnt leave that out.

    Long story short.....

    1) Sell red FTO
    2) Finish and register black FTO as daily driver
    You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

    1. Get 6a13 and manual conversion done and finished to own the quickest fto in darwin
    2. paint bozz front bar and side skirts free i hope
    3. New rims $2300
    4. full respray and remove rust in roof $6k
    5. lowered 35mm $ 250 king springs
    that is all i can think about at the moment hehe not to much to ask
