Post by Valandis91 »

ok I've decided what rims I'm getting...
what tyre size and whatever do I need to make sure a
18x8 rim with a +37 offset doesn't rub?

+37 offset is a bit high... with an 8" width, you'll need some spacers no matter what tyre you choose!

How big will the spacers have to be?
and how much?

My rims are 18x8 on a +32 offset & I have to use a 2mm spacer to stop rubbing. So with a +37 offset, you'll need a 7mm spacer...

They are not expensive, but Im just not sure they make them as big as 7mm.

Valandis, you're no longer selling the car?
I suggest 17" rims rather than 18"

Bennoz, I thought you really liked the KU36 tires?

4 years ago when I wrote that, Tempe didn't do the KU36. In fact, they only had 1 Khumo choice & it was a sh*t tyre.
