I need help with mi fto gs please!!!!

Post by D16a6 »

hi every one, mi name is jose, and i from chile (far far away XD)
i have a fto gs and i start having trouble with the maf sensor
so i try to repair it, but i cant :P
so i want to buy a new maf sensor, but here where i live its impossible. (in my town just are 2 ftos, my 1.8 gs and one of a friend a v6 non mivec) and the maf its not the same

sooo the help i need its if somebody has a 97` fto gs 1.8 automatic, could take a pic of the maf sensor cause i need the code number that its in the top of the maf(cause i lost the adesive that goes on the top of the maf), with the code, maybe i can search for a maf on the net.

the car runs soo bad its stop and die every moment and rattles, and the consumption its like a 5 km per litre, so any help its going to be so gratefull

sorry for the bad english, but i dont sperak so much XD
again thanks for ani kind of help.

this its mi msn if somebody wants to help me kramzack@hotmail.com

thanks

Hi mate, welcome to the club,

If you cant find one just install a piggyback ecu like emanage ultimate and you can get rid of the MAF altogether. Plus of course the added power ;)

maybe give us your chassis number and someone with CAPS should be able to look up the part number for it I think.

Welcome to the Club :)
