all the cheap decent ones disappeard off bikesales. Didnt want to buy new. And i got this bike cheap with all my gear. Sat on a motard (KTM 640LC4) and scared the sh*t out of me. Im am a newbie

i jumped on a ninja yesterday, didn't like it. too cramped for my height, and the shift lever isn't long enough. spent most of the day on the back of an 08 gixxer 1000, i've never been on a vehicle with so much bloody response!

They scare me ... i was going to upgrade ... But kind of fear that I would not be around long if I got one....

Does anyone know what i can do to get my bike started?

HEres what it does. I put the key in, turn ignition on, turn choke on fully, turn on fuel, turn off kill switch, then i crank it. It turns over for a bit (7 seconds ish), then stops turning over and the alternator (i think just spins). Im thinking carb might be flooded or I may not getting a spark. Should I try to bump start it?>

yeah, that bike is scary, it hauls some serious arse in any gear....

steve, try clutching it. maybe leave the choke off and dry out the carby by cranking it. check your plugs too, might be fouled, being a 2 stroke... thats all i can think of for now, i'm not very good with 2 strokes sorry

you might have flooded the carbs... happened on mine

get a mate to push you with the bike in second and pop the clutch and off you go

all good now. New sparkie and recharged battery. Sparkie was fouled (thanks Nathan) and battery died freom me trying to kick it over too much. Having ever so much fun although my neck and wrists hurt majorly
