nothing is straight forward as there is always a problem along the way.

Well got some work done today.

Reverse Engineered the turbo and pipes

Ohhhhhhh, my 3inch dump pipe

Removed the sump to ready for cleaning and welding of turbo oil return line, which i should get completed monday tuesday.

Thanks guys. Just cleaned up the exhaust gaskets and put the exhaust manifolds back on.

Thought id post up a pic of the how well the manifolds came up. Look good i reckon

just out of interest mate i pressume you have not done any forging of the internals what type of boost are you looking at running 7psi? cant be bothered reading over whole thread

and you have not used any decompression gaskets?

No mate, completely standard internals. As for psi, i will be loking at round 4-5psi and then after 6 months move up to 7, depending on how the fuel pump and injectors are looking. If they start maxing out, then ill just leave it were it is....... for the moment lol. But at the end of the day the tuner is the expert, so i will be listening to him very carefully.

Well got the oil drain pipe welded to the sump today. Almost looks factory

It had to be tig welded so i had some help from a mate at work. I havent really done much tig before and being so fiddly, i thought id just let the pro do it.

But im getting a lot of practice in so next time i would definitly give it a go

Well friday was a little dissappointing went in to my local hose supply place and they couldnt find a fitting for the oil feed inlet

. So i will have to try and fing one myself. Anyone??

Didnt get much done today, as i am waiting for the lines. I did figure out where the RRFPR is going though. I made the bracket for it but i could drill holes for it as my drill died some time ago. So ill do that tomorrow at work.
