check error codes mate
could be trans overheated, or even just a fuse,
to something more sinister like new box needed
there have been many threads on this in the forum might need to start having fun trawling ;) them

yeh it is tip... By the looks of it the transmition oil is getting too hot.. I checked the error codes and it is flashing 2hz per secon.. also after i turned the car off and let it cool down it was fine.. Now i am stuck in wagga and have to go home to canberra tomorrow because i have to work. now will it be safe to drive the car to canberra which is a 2 and a half hour drive or should i leave the car here and get it fixed also what can cause the oil to get hot and how can i fix it and is it expensive?

oil can gethot via running for long time, not being regulary serviced, pushing too hard, cooler damaged so forstarters i would get trans serviced ie change oil and filter and just might solve issues.
as for driving if it is all normal then i would drive but carefully as flashing N means it was in limp mode. But i take no responsibilty if it goes boom   (highly unlikely ;) )

Yeah totally agree with vip. Change the oil and filter and she will be sweet.

Personally i would drive it home.....if i absolutely had to get to work but i would drive it like a granny.
