Forgot to mention, yes I'll PM out the bank details tonight. For those of you that have used the club account before, thats the one I'll be using.Bennoz wrote:Sorry bout the delay guys.
Ok, confirmed UAS has everything they need to make the kit. Unfortunately, some of UAS's suppliers have put their prices up, as such the best they can do for me on a buy of 10 units is the same as the old list price of $395. (See the list price now has gone up to $450.) I know that may put a few of you off, so please let me know now rather than later if you have to pull out. As mentioned the kits are pretty much all ready to go.
Total kit consists of:
Unifilter (oiled, cleanable type.)
Intake pipe
Manifold pressure pipe & fitting (connects to intake pipe)
Cold air box
Cold air box seal (rubber seal fitting that goes around the intake pipe where it enters the box to seal it)
All related hose clamps.
Now, at this stage we've made no allowance for postage. So in order to keep costs to a minimum, we can do this a number of ways. I'll pickup the whole order, for NSW people I can hold onto them at my work & people can come pickup, or I can bring them all to DIY day. For interstate people, I can ship them all to one person & then everyone picks up from that person etc.
I can freight from work for free, but the less items I send, the better... the mail room folk start to look at me funny otherwise (and not 'funny' in a good way lol.)
So please add your state & if you need it to be shipped direct. If not shipped direct, we'll work out a common pickup points in each state.

PS Aza - at this stage I cant do you just a pipe, BUT if we find one more buyer for a complete kit, I canThey bought 11 pipes.
Please put your forum name as a reference.

Ben-
Ok sorry if this is the same as what xSlurpee asked, coz his was worded wierd. Can i pick mine up from them and pay them in cash (not that that matters) directly?
Reasons why- I'm close enough to UAS to go get it and i have no idea how far away ben's work is. Second to that im not sure what everts i'll be at ie (diy day) cos i just dont no where i'll be (could be working or up the coast). I might be goin to the cruse for cancer this weekend, but i dont suppose u'll be goin ben or for that matter even have the kits by then
If its just not possible and your just going to go pick them up yourself for simplicity then just say 'no, shut up'

Im trying not to complicate the matter thats all. Ie - 1 payment from me to them, 1 box of goods from them to me.
What we could do, is if you guys pay me as per procedure, then once I've made the bulk payment to them, I'll let them know you guys are going to pickup directly. Then I only need pickup the remainder of the kits to ship about. How does that sound?

1. They are at Seven Hills. Address is on the website
2. I'll be letting them know who's coming
That price of $395 was set back in 2002 - when the average price of a barrel of crude oil was $22.oodLes wrote:Im out, sorry.
Suppliers of pipes and plastic have jacked their prices that much huh.
