Strongly concur.

seriously, WTF kind of show doesn't have anything (good) European, but has Cadillac?
no Audi, Porsche, Aston, Rolls..i mean, the only thing that show has going for it right now is Mazda, and the only one i want to see is the Furai.

anyone up to boycott said car makers in aus?

Obviously you didn't go last year.

Maserati GT, new Lotus, Evo X - 'nuff said.

This year they have the Nissan GTR V-Spec in the flesh.
you can be damn sure i'm going now.
i don't give a sh*t if it's missing all the good cars, the damn V-spec makes it more than worth it.

that and the Furai is tempting me.

I went yesterday.
Holden and ford grabbed a big chunk of space already and let me highlight some cars which might be an interest of you guys...

Interesting bits: mitsu evoX, Sti rally car, CTR rally car, Supra race car, GTR, Pagani Zonda, koenigsegg, porche avalanche, autosalon yaris project car.

Visual bits: quite a few concept cars like Toyota hybrid X, Nissan Mixim, Mazda Taiki.

Boring bits: ford section, holden section, skip the lotus elise, mitsubishi lancer sporthatch, toyota prius.

Adult pay $18. take as much pics as you want, but dont expect show much show girls around and gran a couple of posters.

Overall experience:6.5/10

 thats the most likely answer!
As theres a big price gap between the standard lancer and the evo and mitsu just simply sell a watered down evo.....its a shame.

Well the Evo combats the STi, whilst the WRX mid-point one never got any competition from mitsu. Thats what the Ralliart is meant to do. Its got the same 4WD system but a different ecu from what I can tell, so I think its gonna be a quick ecu upgrade and you've got yourself something with very similar performance to the evo.
