Can you please give me a shopping list of things to get so that I can do this on the day too?
Bloody good question nick. Im not too sure myself but methinks some some of dunny pipe? I wouild like to run a setup like aza's but instead of the intake pipe from under the front bar, i want to put it through the fog light hole?

Help aza!

What was your shopping list? :D

All you need for the front section of the CAI is an off the shelf (Auto One / Repco / Supercheap) length of 75mm automotive grade flexible pipe. They usually come in metre lengths (which is more than enough for the job) and then some cable ties :)

I think what Ben said would be a little cheeper to do.
but I got a 90mm pipe with a 100mm 45degree bend conector pipe that narowed to 90mm to fit in to strait pipe and another 90mm 45 bend to go up into the box.
oh and a metal strap to hold it in place and silicon to make it air tight.

I'll be coming, i wanna get my calipers painted, my cai boxed and redirected to the outside, so a supercheapauto run may be required on the day.

yeah, if time and resources permit, then we'll do the extra stuff but i think its unlikely we'll get it done.

I think you kinda have the wrong idea about DIY day. It's more for stuff like doing headlights, taillights, other random stuff you won't usually go to a mechanic etc for.

Not for things like getting your car serviced.. go to a mechanic for that.

lol sh*t are u serious?

I'd just feel bad if I was asking for something like servicing my car @ DIY day, since it's something easily done by a mechanic anywhere, just cos it seems like too much work.
Maybe I'm just too considerate :P

Oh yea Ben, almost forgot about the intake pipe - I'll grab it off you on DIY day? Don't think you'll have time to put it on for me since I'll probably just be there for couple of hours from 9 till around 11 since I gotta go to harbour life :?
