Do you reackon anyone's gotten a 12 second pass without a turbo (don't say nos )?

personally dont think its possible with a 6A12

The FTO in my opinion wasnt made to go that fast. It was made to be moderately quick as well as look good and be a small compact car.
Although there is nothing against anyone trying to make it as fast as possible.

+1... Have seen some fwd cars pull 12's but they weighed sh*t all and had crazy turrbo set ups... 12 & 13 sec passes are in the big big hp territory... There's a uk member, think his names richard, with a 6a13 single turbo thats fully built. Is running low 13's

Rich's current PB is 11.22. Watch this space as he could have the first 10 second FTO this weekend if things go as planned.
anythings possible if you have the cash. so its plausible to run 13s and 12s but whether its economical spending money on a na fwd for those times is really up to the person. Although, i have to admit that it would probably required an engine swap with a 2.5ltr mivec tt galant coz I dont think the 6a12 is quite up to the task. So plausible but unlikely.
13 seconds in an N/a FTO is not plausible for a couple of reasons...
1- Power. A tuned up Mivec would push aroud 120kw atw... go postal on the thing and look at MAYBE 140-150....
2- Weight- The FTO is a pretty stripped out car already, with not much being able to be removed... at about 1,200kg+ I doubt you'd be able to strip it, put some fuel in and sit in it and come under 1,100... even with extensive CF work i dont see it happening...
3- FWD - Although this does help efficiency and such, it is not the best for gaining traction under heavy acceleration... this is because of a thing called weight transfer. As the FTO accelerates from a standstill, all the weight moves to the rear of the car, which lifts the front end. This reduces traction dramatically at the front wheels... this can be counter-acted with some rock solid rear suspension.. however RWD always benifit from this as it actually GIVES them traction. This problem in particular is one that i am trying to desperately sort out...
So in all, the FTO doesnt have much going for it at the strip....
