Hi, Not sure about what to modify externally yet cause FTO's have always seemed nearly perfect to me stock - but it definately needs some suspension work and brakes - way too many sqeaks coming from that area lol - the exhaust is a canon already it sounds sweet - maybe a touch of NOS if the engine is up to it stock - maybe - and the stereo surround is stuffed and the stero forgets which station i tuned it to each time i fire it up so that will be next after suspension and brakes

Hey mate welcome to the club, nice ride ;)

As for the stereo its a real easy fix, the constant power and the ignition power have been hooked up the wrong way round just swap them over and all fixed

There is a set of Tein Coilovers on ebay for $400 ... If I didn't have the G4's then I would snap them up...

Just get some good pads... There are probably some things on here about good pads... Just try a search ... But I would stay away from Bendix, and have had a friend have problems with Ferdo (or what eva they are called)

Try talking to Bennoz about that ... He was running stock engine on NOS ...

Hehehehe ... You are not alone on that one... We did a group buy a while ago... There is one that I saw on ebay a little while ago ... But Dstocks gets them in, so give him a PM ...

And yeah, not too sure about the stereo itself, but what Simon has stated sounds like it could be the go ...

Do it!!

Just remember to change your plugs twice as often.. and purge the lines before giving it a big hit. I was running a 100hp shot thru mine & it had done 150,000 kms. Worked a treat.

Sweet !!! thanks guys !! I did a run to newcastle and back today for work and i am much happier with it now - cruising at 150 at 4+ grand coming back was pretty damn good feeling lol even if it was only for a minute in between the turn arounds where the blue lights hide lol . dont do that much normally - 130 pulls up other vehicles i have driven but it was good to blast the cobwebs away and see what it could do and the motor wasnt even really working!! would love to find an autobahn somewhere in oz to really stretch its legs lol

If you are going to do brakes, it may be a good idea to get some slotted rotors also .. RDA and DBA do some good sets ... I have RDA on my GSR .... There pretty bloody good ...

Haha yes I also know the curses of black cars, I used to have a black SW20 MR2, but despite that I love them cause I think they look the best when they are clean! Good work ;)

Would just like to confirm Gordon, did you purchase the car from a so called dealer located in concord on Parramatta road? If so how were you treated?

I purchased mine from there and I did have a bad experience, which is why Im not naming them.

Nice clean car, although the dolces or whatever confllict with the rest of the car.

Anyhow, WTTC :D
