Rear Driver Side wheel

Post by dj_ules »

hey guys im just tryin to work out this noise coming from my lancer 2000 rear wheel, its definetly not the break pads causeits not squeeking, but im sure its the wheel bearing as its a growling noise when driving,
any body know how to replace one of these on a lancer, ive been told that the bearing is just the one piece can anyone confirm this ? and would anybody know what price i would be looking at !

oh last thing,, is it safe to drive it around ? i have work and need to drive to sydney on the f3 a few times next week
cheers guys

yip sounds like bearing not to hard to do but you will need to get a wheel bearing kit and have some time to spare unless you get done at shop not to sure for price but kit maybe 60 to 100 and another 1 to 1 half hours labour
as for driving it will get worse then wheel may just colapse to sort of speak so get done asap
