I think you'll find will do more than you think esp on track any form of strenghtening and making chassis more ridged and geometricly stable has to be good :D

Thats not the under car brace though just the strut brace in boot which I also thorougly recommend I'm pretty sure these braces will be better than what car is without and you can also get front under brace and under car H brace for more strength

Not yet track tested as mentioned...

Wouldn't mind trying the H brace, but it wouldn't fit with RPW extractors.

No idea if it'll fit with a 6A13 in there... I dare say not with all the turbo plumbing.

 can it not be adjusted by screwing out the threads a little? also you may have to jack up end of car to take wieght off so it can fit maybe?

What I find funny is if you enter Citylink in Melb from Footscray road you bascially enter a long circle bend. Everyday after work we try to beat each others speed around the corner.

I notice my FTO hits about 85 then starts to understeer. Would a strut brace work??

Its funny my sisters fiesta I can get about 92 around the corner!

Commodores are around 82 km/h :)

try good suspension and tyres first. I bet you can do a much higher speed than that, from memory I hit over 100 without any understeer.

I'm running lowered king springs with koni adjustables, upgraded sway bars front and back. Make sure your pressures are on and you actually are running some good tyres - tyres make the difference.

+1 ^^ biggest improvement you can make is tyres all the rest is more fine tuning and yes strut brace will help should keep car more stiff lessening weight shift to to fromt corner with roll therefore less understeer

We're gonna fabricate a lower front one for mine. Extra weight of the new motor can only be compensated so much by adjusting the damper settings on the front shocks.
