accident again!!

Post by ft04me »

this has to be the most unluckiest week for me!!! Just had ANOTHER accident this time being my fault coiming out of a blind intersection... wasn't a full on impact but enuf force then the driver side wheel is now leaning inwards really badly? I drove it home really carefull and its fine on straight and the steering wasn't vibrating but when I turn its like the steering wheel wants to do its own thing.. Lolz anyone here think what has gone ?? Steering rack mayb? I don't think suspension ... I need to get this fixed asap as I need the car for work and uni... I can't fix the slight dents and scratches to the fog light but I need to fix the steering soon... not to mention I was also rear ended not long ago... I hate this week!!

mate thats sucks ass but i not its not really any consolation to you but at least no one was hurt.

Jack the car up and get a torch and have a look around you probably have bent or broken something look at the bottom control arm and anything else in the area. If your not mechanically mindedthen you need to get it to a expert immediately

tats y its safer to get insurance man. U never know when that bugger tat hits u is dodgy and u end up trying hard to get payment from tat douchebag. Worst still if u injure a person n your at fault, u are liable for his/her injuries. Getting car insurance will save u a long way dude

yeah im thinking of gettin full comp when i renue my insurance... how much do u think it cost to replace a corrola's front bumber and plastic grill?(not the new ones but 2 generations back..2002 model i think.. coz i doubt it'll cost more than my excess of $1800 with just cars

they only had slight marks and dents on the body..im gonna arrange something with them! and hopefully its less than 1g... fingers crossed

Woah...tats really high excess u got there. How old are u? Not so sure how much it will cost as Ive never got into one before. Prob should be less than 1k. If u have a panel beater fren prob u can get the bumper from the wreckers. Its much cheaper and might have the colour you need too

After 2 crashes in 1 week, your premium for comp insurance is going to be pretty high.

May I ask what / who you hit in order to screw the steering? Obviously there should be some decent panel damage too?

yeah the right fender, foglight and bumper are slightly damaged and bent but my main concern atm is fixing my steering problem.. like i said its sturdy and solid when going straight..i mean u woulddnt even notice that there was something wrong unless u look at the angle of the steering wheel for straight.. lols if u put the position on the steering wheel for straight and place your right hand on top and turn in so that your hand is at the 2o'clock position then thats my straight.. and when u do turn...the steering wheel makes random feed back and has a mind of its own...

im gonna try and drive it to pedders 2moro morning... to have it checked up

im 20 yrs old with driving history..lolz and im with just cars insurance so it makes sense for my excess to be RIDICULOUS!!! lolz

why couldnt my first accident be a write off so that i can just buy a MANUAL FTO..lolz

hey sorry...umm she hit me on the driver side front fender and wheel. I didnt see her coming as it was a blind right hand turn and i a slowly moved forward to see if theres a car coming..i was hit... i bet ya she was speeding..hence why she could stop in time? but its stil my fault for "failing to give way" ..haha

thanks guys for your comments
