gokart day 10th of August called off

I'll come down to the meet point but if only a couple of people turn up wanting to go and race then it may not be worth going and we can just go for a drive somewhere and do some photo's or grab a feast for lunch somewhere.

i can vouch for 2 more... havent meet anyone yet and dont feel up for a 3 hour drive on my own, so my brothers goin to come

That should still be like a solid 10 people for karts, right?

dam, if only i knew early you guys were having go-kart on this Sunday, i would have come join yous. I'll be Go-karting as well this Sunday but at eastern creek for my 20th Birthday. Oh wells hope you guys have fun.

I asked mate to go and let him drive my car (on his red P's) but he dont have money for the prices of go-karting

elusi0n you should be more active on the forum! would've been sick if you could come to this one with your friends and all and do a massive GP challenge

ok due to the numbers that have pulled out I am going to call this off as its no point running it for 2-3 ppl, I will try this again at a later time.

lol my friends dont have that much money to go for GP challenge, only enough for Arive and Drive. lol

On a more serious note - I'll be up to go any other time after the 15th of this month. Count me in as a GAURANTEED for the next time, I'll have the money. Sorry to pull out but I'm really tight atm, 100% in next time, unless it's like clashing with a birthday or something I have on.

if you still want to go down for a spin I will still be going it just wont be a club event so you are wellcome to tag along

and I am happy that I did not book for a GP race as I would have been out of pocket about $300-$400

Sorry mate just saw this now.

It's a real shame this didn't come off... I guess the lesson here is to never fork out money up front for other people to pay later because it never goes according to plan, despite best intentions.

It's pretty shocking that we couldn't even get a couple of people together... I guess next time someone criticises NSW for not organising enough events, we'll just point them in the direction of this thread...
