aza013's atw figures
Was doing a bit of browsing and discovered that your car put 128kws atw and then 108 atw's at autosalon. Was wondering if you've dynoed it recently and if so what you'd be putting out

yep I have some problems to fix up and it will be back up to the 128kws+
I will also be getting more power to as the unichip still has to go in
going to take it over to Bens mechanic to get that put in and the other things fixed and run it up on their dyno to see what it puts out there.
hopeing to get about 140kws atw.

Doesnt really matter what you go for, they all give similar results. The only gripe I have with Unichips is that the amount of qualified tuners around that can do them is pretty scarce. Unichip ask for insane amounts of money to be (and stay) a qualified tuner. Somewhere in the vicinity of $3000 a year per technician, so its only really viable for shops that sell Unichips in large quantities to have certified tuners - aka Croydon Auto.
So in essence, if you can find a Unichip cheap & are not too far from a tuner, great - go for it. Otherwise I'd be going for something like a Greddy Emanage or Perfect Power SMT6 or 7.

If you get an emanage, just get the standard blue one. The Ultimate has a couple of things which require modification.

The standard Emanage blue doesnt have these issues - its also a couple of hundred dollars cheaper & will do everything you need. Just get the standard universal harness and slice it into the ECU loom as per the instructions. You'll need this FTO ECU pin out diagram as well:You can't run the 6a12 program on the emanage to run MIVEC engines you will end up setting a code 32 which is the one for the MAP sensor, so I selected the honda C30A program and then changed it to the universal program and said it had a honda MAP sensor with a mitsubishi crank angle sensor, this got rid of the code and the engine Idles good now.
Another problem that has come is that the Emanage set a code 41 which has something to do with the injector so the engine light comes up and you only can rev to 6000 rpm and don't have mivec and you will need to buy the injector adapter for the GTO I think to fix this, or if you want to be cheap you can raise the idle over 1000rpm and this won't set the code.

I think I found out today one of the problems I have with the loss of power
when I had the cat of and had a look into it to see if it was stuffed or not I found that the core/honeycomb center had a lot smaller holes in it than the one I had on it after the moter was fixed up, I changed it to a socalled high flow cat befor the autosalon
and from then on in the power has been down.
