Post by jakey106 »

Could be o2 sensor which i have for sale in the for sale section but be quick as i only have one left.

Heres Link
http://www.ftoaustralia.com/modules.php ... 915#164915

Next time you fill up press the trip meter and see how many KMS your getting out of a tank. Anything under 430, i would be looking into. I used to about 350-380kms per tank then i replaced o2 sensor and was getting 530km. Now with emanage installed i get around the 630km per tank mark. Some guys on here have even stated that in their manuals they were getting over 700km.

@ Amacha, auto or manual? Auto's are going to poorer fuel economy over a manual. Also can you smell petrol when your car is running, thats usually a good sign that, the car is running to rich.

I get about 500k to the tank ... In manual ... And that is with giving it a bit too ...

My trip to QLD got me close to 600k .... But my tank from Taree, then driving in the city got me over 650k to that tank ... and that was just with the fuel light coming on...

Yeah, the fuel light just starts to come on around 500k ... But, my city driving is leaving home at 6am, and leaving work at about 8, or 9pm ... So I don't see too much traffic... And there is a nice stretch where it is just motor way ... So all up is about 28k's each way ... But say 10 of that is motorway ...

Gets me bette k's then my old commodore, and a bit better then the Cressida ... So I am happy ... If I drove a little more sedate, and not take it to Mivec as much, it would be interesting to see how much more I could get....

Before i got my transfer I had to drive from Gladstone to Redcliffe every second weekend (about 540km) and still had enough fuel to drive to work for the rest of the week. So I was getting about 600km on a tank. That was giving it a bit on the highway to.

Reset my meter when i filled up the other day...

So far on 408km.... and im sure everybody here knows how i drive...

though it did have 150kms done on the highway...

Reckon i'll get another 40kms before fill up...

Fuel economy has greatly increased since the last tune...

Have also serviced the sh*t out of it this week... (Oil+filter, coolant change, gearbox oil change, etc.)
