EOI... Alternators - GPX x 2

Post by kazbah »

Got 2 to fit GPX (there is an extra 2 pins for the GPX which wont fit other models).. I'm looking to get them reconditioned but this will depend upon interest and whether its worth it dollar wise...

If anyone is interested they are already sitting at the Auto Sparkies awaiting my go ahead.. I'll hit the sparkie up for a warranty. Looking for around $350 each plus postage.

PM me if you are interested

I think you may find that was a recon not brand new. As Bennoz said brand new is quoted by Mitsu at $900 plus ;)

That's a good price. If you get a chance can you post up the part number and make for other members? I will list mine on eBay if I can get them repaired at a reasonable price ;)

I dont trust Mitsubishi. They tend to rip you off once they hear u got an FTO. The prices they quote are totally crazy.

Its the 'grey import' markup. Any part that is specific to a grey import car is automatically subjected to a 300-400% price increase. Its Mitsubishi's way of discouraging people from buying grey imports & buying cars lcoally instead. Shame they havent worked it out thou...the FTO never sold here, and not being made anymore. You'd think they'd wise up & drop the markup - its revenue they're missing out on. Idiots.
