Ignoring People

I was just wondering before... you know how some people say stupid stuff all the time?

Well, on things like Slashdot and chat rooms etc, you can choose not to see the responses that certain people make... I was just wondering if anyone has stumbled across that same sort of functionality on the forum?

on vBulletin, you can choose it in the UserCP..not sure bout phpBB though :\

Yep its coming. Were waiting on the Nuke ported version of phpbb 3.0 that has all that. Apparently its in developement - BBtonuke 3.0.

Why are you waiting on the nuke ported version?
i know of a couple other forums that are running the standard one perfectly fine..

You can't run plain phpBB in a nuke portal - aka what this site is. The forum has to be ported into the Nuke software because Nuke is the primary software. The database the forum is on, is the same database that the downloads, weblinks & user accounts etc are all on. Nuke is the management tool for everything including the forum. We are currently running the forum on BBtonuke V2.0.23 (which is the latest ported version available.)

We could run on just plain phpBB as many forums do, but then we'd loose all the other modules. There's be no gallery, no links, no downloads etc etc unless I built them manually in html - not gonna happen.

Unsure. Shouldn't be tooooo far away thou. phpBB 3.0 has been released in stable form for 6 months now. It may well come packaged with the new version of Nuke (v8.2) which is due towards the end of the year.
