yeh not too sure bout 18s or 19s
if i can find a gd looking set of 18s i would think bout it
and as for lowering cant really do it much :(
cause i live in the hills and used to scrape in the lancer and it was lowered.
just kept damaging it and was getting sick of it. any suggestions on rims? 17s or 18s?

I think you should sta away from chrome mate, looks like crap on a Japanese car, get some good JDM rims. Try www.Musecret.com.au they have some nice lightweight 5/6 spoke rims, they are based in Parramatta i think.

lol yeah there are some exceptions, just not the typical massive chromes that cover the entire wheel, theres a rx8 near my house thats always around. it has the worst bodykit to go a lot with the massive chrome dishes, totally destroys the cars look.

Tiger, IMO chrome looks good only on american muscle, and has NO place on jap cars.

Stick with 17s, 18s are a fair compromise on ride quality and cost a fair bit more for rubber too.

As a general rule of thumb, just do the opposite of what Olliezzz recommends.

lol well rubber cost was one of the reasons i only want 17s but if u go to big with rims just looks outta place as well
i reckon 17s r perfect for the fto

Dont mean to crap in anyones yard, but all above mentioned 'chromies' are absolutely f**king hideous.... and f**king heavy. May as well throw an anchor out the window.

Absolutely f**king hideous sums it up nicely ben. But rims get a variety of opinions. Tiger get some Buddyclubs. Highly recommend buddyclub store in lidcombe. They are a wholesaler so they are cheaper than anywhere else. And you can get a deal with some semi slicks too!

Agreed, but in the end I guess it's personal choice.

Buy what makes you happy - It's your car, but I must say I really don't like those rims.
I have to work - People on the dole depend on me.
