service problem

HI guys~~it is getting closer to my 2nd service for my fto~i want to change a different brand of engine oil~~do u have any advice???

canola oil .. make sure its extra virgin :lol:

haha just pick any that you like they wont make a big difference. Personally i use castrol :D

But i don't know the brand of oil that i am using- -.is it ok i just change another brands directl?my father told me it needs to clean the oil system while u r change different brand engine oil

Yeh you bleed out all old oils first.

+1 Yeah I been using fuchs for all oil and lube/coolant latley highly reccomend

Make sure you take out all of the ~ too ;)

My last service to fto's done by the dealer~~they used 5w/40 engine oil, should i change the grade to 15w/40 as this forum suggested~~whts would make differences?

5w40 is fine mate. There's a lot of different recommendations thrown about here. Gernerally speaking, most folk use 5w40 or 10w40.
