i dont like the "paying members" idea... people would bitch substancially more if you ban them lol
no seriously i like the fact that this forum is free, not because i'm a tight ass about a couple of bux, but for example, if this was a paying site then i definately wouldn't have signed up.
I think the fact it's free is what builds and keeps our membership.

with that said if you can come up with a "paying memeber's area" with something cool without ostracizing the non paying memebers then go nuts.

Yeah, I dont think we'll be alienating anyone by creating 'elitist' sections. Contributing is purely voluntary. I just hope this resource has helped you the end user, keep your pride & joy in good nick & saving you some $$ in doing so.

If we go over the required $155, then whatevers left in the kitty goes towards any other expenses the club might encounter. For instance I've got to come up with $250 to print a batch of stickers (which we are currently out of.) If any other committee members need it to produce merchandise, or even a few snags for a cruise bbq etc, then thats what its there for.

B.orep, good points mate. I didn't mean like locking out the whole site, or even any parts of it.

I was more thinking something like putting a "Paying Member" tag under the Grease Monkey / Newbie tag... keeping it voluntary but giving new members the option to, if they so choose.

hey i offered angel eyes but he still hasn't gotten around to dropping the lights off yet.

besides i doubt sam will let me use it

were as i use this everyday lol
