I know this is an old topic but my car does the exact same thing. on idle the volts drop the lights dim and it makes a squeaky noise kind of like a loose belt. I did an ECU error code check and the error code 64 alternator FR Terminal comes up and error code Throttle position sensor which would be why it stalls when cold. anyone know of a place to get my alternator recon'd? cause I am guessing that is the problem

Maybe you need a new throttle position sensor.....
