Remote Central locking problems

Post by Agent007 »

hi guys & gals,

Im having problems with my central locking. When i press the remote alarm the car doesnt lock until i press it about 3 - 4 times and then the car locks.

When i manually lock it from the inside it still doesnt lock until i do it about 2 - 3 times.

but when i use the key to lock and unlock the car it works fine.

does anyone have the same problem? or can anyone help me?
:(

a VERY common problem.

The FTO has weak central locking motors / actuators.

Do a search for central locking and you'll find MANY topics which have already covered this and which will answer your question.

In short, get the actuators replaced.
