in what regards??

Im just thinking that this setup will prob max out around 300-350hp...

Bigger turbo would let the engine handle maybe 450hp..

Jeffs car with some more work could prob push up to 600hp mark...

im just too lazy to get a new turbo on it... and extra .5L sounds cool...

Mate, that bullet proof engine of yours just needs to be massaged for monster power. You've done all the ground work & spent a mint doing it - dont throw it away.

My mechanic is about to pull some massive figure out of a 2.6 litre, Im talking 1100kws. Whats stopping you getting at least 500? The ground work is there for it...you just need the hair dryer & a f%cking cam pulley that'll stay on.

a new hairdryer is going to be a pain in the ass...

all new piping (larger piping too) as well as new turbo...

Im just over it... spending money on the performance and having it off the road so much..

Jeffs is already a 300kw monster... and reliable at that...

I will be test driving jeffs on sunday...

Also as a side note, i've said to myself that if i pull more than 250kw out of this tune, then i'll keep it...

And the ground work has all been done on jeffs too... maybe even more (better fuel system and cooling system)

Not to mention he also has air con... (phew!)

Man wtf seriously..??

Remember what you wrote in my other post?
FtoSam wrote: There's nothing like having your own custom car... Something that is totally yours... where you can look at it and no longer even see where the standard thing was... All that is left is your creation...

It stops being an FTO... and turns into YOUR fto....

After my FTO i will be buying a family car... and a house... and all the other sensible sh*t...

For now.... Im doing this while i can... Sublime, you're the same age as me... I figure do this now.. get it out of your system... be proud and dont hold back on your FTO... Then you'll always remember this car well into old age, after you've bought your family car and got married, and crap...

Thats basically my mentalitly when people tell me i couldve bought a house by now...

f**k it! id rather have fun now... get it out of my system... buy a house in 2 years when im done...

I'd say keep it... Dont forget if you buy an EVO... you'll want to modify it... cause they're so popular... so keep that in your calculations...

Oh and that there'll always be somebody faster... so power can become an addiction...
Honestly man I know this has been said before but you're crazy bro, but in the end its your decision, whatever makes u happy. :?

I know...

Which is why there'll be a lot of work to do on jeffs to get it to my liking...

The main thing i want is the engine... the 2.5L 6a13tt has been modified much more than the 6a12 engine.. parts are more common, etc etc... He's got his PWR sh*t in it, etc etc...

I'll be transfering some of my sh*t over (Seats, DVD, some guages, etc)

The main thing im leaving behind is the engine... I'm just sick of spending money on it and getting nowhere...

If this final tune gets me 250kw+ then i'll keep it...

I'm not phased if it doesnt sell... Its just another way of doing things...

My new brakes, front bar, new dash, tacho, guages, wheels, etc are not yet on my fto... so i figure if im going to do it, i need to do it while i;m at it...

Both being around the same price I think someone's going to buy Jeff's over yours - esp after your sales pitch ;)

I can see the appeal of Jeff's car.. but after all the $$$ you've spent on yours to get it this far towards completion & you're going to sell it before you've even had a chance to have a bit of fun with it? I think thats insane.. 8O

I can't really even bring myself to sell my car because of the amount I've spent on it so far to fix it up / make it my own & I haven't spent anywhere near as much as you have..

I find the amount that I'd get for my car these days to be insulting compared to what I paid originally & have spent on it.. Would be losing so much $$$
