Paint Problems Help!

Post by Valandis91 »

I got my baby the other night and while washing it today i notice in 3 large areas the
paint is all cracked... but only on one section on the bonnet its come off a bit..
anyone know why this is happening? its definitely not rust...
also is there any way to prevent it getting any worse cos im going to respray
it eventually but until then i dont want it getting any worse...

Probably because the surface hasnt been properly prepared before the paint is layed down. Thatll cause crazing and delamination. Either that, or someone has spilt something nasty on your paintwork. Suff like eggs, gum sap, brake fluid will eat paint.
