Found this one, but a bit confused. I thought that wanted a 1.7:1 where as this is a 1:1.7. Does this make a difference or can it just be said anyway round. Any help please.

Thats the one. 1.7:1 or 1:1.7 same thing. It just means as the fuel pressure is increased by 1.7psi to every 1psi of air going in.

It wont give you more power on a stock setup, all it will do it increase the fuel back pressure in the line - no more fuel will be pushed thru the injectors, it'll just ensure you dont suck the rails dry when you nail it. You can install it without the turbo, I've been running one for years. Just make sure you get the pressure set on it properly. I think mine is on 45psi.

So is there a screw or something to set the pressure, and i suppose you need a gauge to set it?

Yeah there's a dome nut & adjuster thread. You can adjust it by eye as it comes with a gauge that sit ontop of it permenantly, just need to do it without the manifold pressure line attached from memory.

No, the factory FPR is removed altogether.

To be honest I wouldnt buy that one in the link. It doesnt look likes it comes with the gauge & it is specified for a Ford Escort. Keep your eye's peeled for a Mitsubishi specific one. The only difference is really the fuel rail adaptor to suit Mitsi rails - otherwsie you'll end up having to make something up - as the standard FPR is removed from the end of the rail to start with.

Also just found the correct setting for them:
2.78 bar with vacuum connected and at idle (40.32psi)
