Help with stain removal
I need some assistance in removing some petrol stains under my fuel flap. I've tried some polish and bug/tar remover but the stains are still noticeable. Any suggestions on what might work without stripping my paint?
Thanks...
Thanks...

I have this problem before as well, but it's luckly that I'm working for a car detailing company and the working buff it off for me, so I sure it can be remove after detailing !!! of course it will coz you more to to carry out detailing !!
But what I think it's worth to do detailing, since you buy some good brand polish, it cost you up to $30, and you not sure it work or not, but you pay $150-$180 for body detailing, then your whole car body will be shine and also solve your problem.!!!!!!!! Right ??

As they've been polished, rather than chromed, they're a little more subtle than the "chromies". They look superb and certainly grab your attention, but they're not as "in your face" as the chromies can be.
From memory it cost him around $150 per wheel. So they're also much better value than the chromies.
He also finished them off nicely by replacing the standard centre cover with the Mitsi logo on it, with a chrome one from an Evo (from memory, could be wrong on that).
Sentry, you could probably go over them with a coloured metal tint paint to get the effect you were after.

Very nice indeed. Although I'm not the biggest fan of chrome they look a lot better than the normal look of the stock rims. I wonder if it'd be possible to get the rims done in a metallic grey finish, similar to those found on the current Type Rs.

Actually ruchi the caps are of a magna and cost around $20 each,I decided to polish the rims since its a cheap alternative to buying new rims and to my knowledge no one has done this before on an fto anyway. You could chrome them but it would cost more and ad weight to the rims.Easy to keep clean too just use glass cleaner! You could just repaint the rims which any panel shop can do.Any metal polisher could polish rims im sure someone in Sydney could do them.Might be a silly question but has anyone tried useing tar and spot remover on their rims?
