phone version of the site?

just throwing it out there. Just how hard would it be to make a phone friendly version of this site/forum? I've been surfing this forum on my phone lately and it occured to me just how hard and annoying it is to view the site on the phone, the pages are huge and all the graphics on here are chewing up heaps of download as well.
I was thinking about maybe just a text version that resizes automatically to the screen size or something... But then again there might not be enough interest/need for it...

Just download Opera Mini or Opera Mobile onto your phone. It resizes automatically and compresses pics before they get to your phone

The site is also running Avantgo which is a mobile friendly browser plugin. You need to have it on the phone thou too. Just use what Supplanter suggested, even easier.

Mind you, it took bucket loads of beer to keep me going while rebuilding this site

i've used my phone for this forum before. it's actually not thaat bad. but I've got a moto Q9h with windows mobile, so the screen is relatively big. you just have scroll down heaps haha

and yeah i use opera, seeing i've only got 50mb internet usage on phone i pretty much disable images all the time for speed and to stay within my monthly limit. [/i]
