Have to say the that after all that, most rewarding part I've done to mine was the interior - steering wheel, handbrake, gear knob, dials, leatherette seats.
Kempy's can be a bit slow when comes to emails, but keep on at em!

I heard about Lancer braces fitting. I only tried once but they did not fit. Ill try asking some places tomorrow as I have the day off.
Interior would be rewarding as you can always see it. Mags would be the first step for me, besides that I would like to keep the body kit and all standard, dont know why but I just like the style as is.
You guys are a great help, thanks heaps

Service & tune completed, yay. Recommended cambelt again, Im just over 91km so its not a rush yet. All good otherwise, but minor oil leaks? Although did not seem concerned over it.
Just rang Kempys up too. They only have the one FTO strut in stock but can order more in so I can have both front and rear. Hoo-ray! Just checking in the boot though, do you just need to cut slits in the carpet stuff or cut a hole out for the rear struts?

Just slits for the back are fine... that way the carpet just folds round them without looking too rough.
Kempy's also do a good price on an aftermarket water pump - good to be done at same time for when you do get your big cambelt service done
Wouldn't know about oil leaks though I'm afraid. All good so far (touch wood

I also used a lancer one in mine - can vouch they fit fine. Always wanted to see and Evo 4 one would fit - There were a couple of spare bolts on the firewall that looked they were in the right place for one of those to bolt straight up . . . .
But FTO gone now
Now got a mitsi that drives the rear wheels for a laugh
But FTO gone now

yea - a bit thin on the ground huh?
no worries.. i'm not mad on fast and furious mods but looking to tastefully treat my passion red 95 to a few changes...
i'd love a leather/suede interior...
an engine start button...
tinted windows for next summer...
a bonnet scoop...
polished/painted engine parts...
a new stereo (standard unit still in!)
lowered slightly...
smaller steering wheel...
i'm sure there's more...

if you find a headunit you like, let me know..... before you buy it
ive got a really good contact and can usually get stuff like that a lot cheaper, and if you want it installed, or any other audio parts done let me know to, im in hamilton so not a huge drive.
also if anyone coming down for v8's and wants their cars parked out of harmsway get hold of me and can park at mine (plenty of room and will be here all day so nice and safe)

i think most mitsi owners down there (chch) are on msport or mmc. i used to be on mmc, and it was good...... until they went and affiliated themselves with the motorsport association. how to turn a club that was fun into something that lost all sence of what was fun. ie: a typical meet up north wouldve had 100+ cars before, after it attracts maybe 20 on a real good day lol. might be different down south, just my 2c
