Email notifications really slow

it probably just cause i spend so much time on here, but the email notifications are arriving long after I've already found replies to topics or noticed that I have PM's .. sometimes about 30mins - an hour later..

Are there probs?

Nope. You just have to keep in mind, the site is on a server with 300 odd other websites, the database is on another server (probably spanned over a cluster) and the email server would be a different one again.... and they are all located in the middle of tornado alley in the US.

Give it time, you'll probably find it'll speed up again in a day or 2. Maybe less.
