Ok just replaced my alternator with another one and unless that one is F^&Ked as well then i still have a problem. Turned car on, put on a/c and full beams, the volt meter dropped to like 9 volts.
Does anyone know what else this could be?
Also when i was taking the old one off, i got a shock when i went to pull the 2 pin plug off (No i hadnt disconnect the battery yet ). Could this mean a short or something?
Thanks Simon

What's she idling at?
If your idle speed is too low, the alternator won't put out much at all. Try bringing the revs up a fraction with the throttle and see if the volt meter pops up a bit more. If that's the case, there's an idle adjustment on the throttle body...
Nah can put my foot to the floor and it wont budge only thing that makes it increase back to somewhere where it should be is turning the aircon and lights off
