Oil Leak Mayby?

Hi all ah i htink i got a oil leak, i noticed a few drops of oil on the driveway and i noticed its right under where the oil pan is that black plastc thingy, i ran my finger around the edge of the oil pan and like just put my hand under the car and i got some oil on my fingertips any ideas?

give it a good cleen and have a 2nd look it may just be the sump plug if so just change the washer and all s good.

hey aza013, when i took the car to ultra tune about 3 months ago to get it serviced the mechanicaid it looks like some oil has leaked from the filter/sump he gave it a clean oh yea the reason the filer leaked was cus the the last mechanic used a filter with 8 holes apparently grrr.umm yeh he gave it a clean and didnt do nything to the the sump plug so in short with teh sump plug i jsut neda take it out and change the rubber thingy around it?

is it gud that the few drops of oil are directly below the oil sump is that a good sign?

umm ok when you do your next oil change replace the washer on the sump plug and see how it gos.

havinga couple of drops of oil a week can it do any damge to the engine?i check the engine oil level every week its fine...

it will be fine as long as you keep it between the low and high lines.
and a drop here and there will not be a problem at all.
it just makes a mess on the ground lol
