On average, the auction price seems to be about $20. That doesnt include postage or anything though. I reckon you be looking at about $40 to get it into the country by the time everything was taken into account. Ill repost if I find any cheaper.
They are downloadable for free (off the Irish site I think). They come as quite large PDFs.

I could be wrong, but the story with those discs that you find on ebay is that some enterprising individual has downloaded everything, shoved it on a disc and is flogging it off on Ebay as something special when its actually all available for free!.
You certainly could have lost a lot more that that . I guess in a way its nearly worth that for the time it takes to pull it all together. I would imagine postage would have been on top of that wouldnt it
