Squeaking noise

Post by Greg_Kumar »

Hi Guys,

I am getting a squeaking noise from the front left of my car. This happens when i am travelling over bumpy roads or speed humps.

Could the bushes require some grease?

Connect your swaybar to your struts:

I had the same problem and thought it was the droplinks but turns out it was the lower bushes on the front left control arm. Also check out your Dee bush for your swaybar and your gearbox mounts (doubtful but always a chance).

Oh and if it is the lower bushes they'l try and charge you for the whole arm (another Mits Aus parts issue) so pm dstocks first, I'm sure he'l hook you up. :D

you replace them, as the balljoints inside them go dry

would it be the same problem if your car makes a thump sound when going slow over a speed bump?
