Can anyone tell me if the TS/TR Magna or CE Lancer starter motors fit the FTO

just pull out the one u have and get it recond.. thats what i did last week all up $135

if u do a search...u can get a new one on ebay for $95 which is what i have in my car now..

Hes after a starter motor, not a stepper motor ;)

    i went through this b/s last week, got one of the nrma guys to come out with their little book and kill all my hopes that this was the case.

    he said there was some hope to get one on but the problem was the fto's starter is at an angle without anymore room for a bigger one and there arnt anymore 2L V6 engines to compaire with, they didnt even have the galant's starter on file.

    see if you can get it reconditioned if you cant source a cheap one

      Thanks guy's but I got it reco'ed...It was full of oil from a leak in the round rubber seals in the rocker cover so they need to be replaced very soon befor it fills up again
