As soon as I did a 180 degree turn out of the staging area at the end of the day it started with the really loud 'POP POP POP' noise

Yeah it was a good day boys eh.
Next time I'll have to come out for a few hot laps too
Those last photos of the three cars shows well the difference between 16, 17 and 18s too. I'll put my photos up in a second.

i think i've done a CV too! only noticed a weird creaking/ popping sound consistent with the wheelspeed. Worth it though

When using imageshack, use the very last link it gives you "Direct link" - that way it'll display a full size image when you use the [img] tags.
Can you email me all the originals? I'd like to put them all together in the gallery
You can also email the video & I'll put that up.

Is it more prominent when you got the wheel turned?

False alarm, turns out the passenger front wheel's nuts had all come loose....
Imagine if that happened on the track? I would love to see something like that happen to someone else!

Jesus I think i'd prefer my CV joint... at least it's failure isn't quite so catastrophic!
Theres a video on youtube where some ricer loses a wheel during drifting... its... uh... not so good.
