Long story short I bought my car from QLD & in order to get it registered in NSW I had to get it engineered because of mods etc. & the car is spose to have two stickers attached to it when its complied. One is the wheel & tyre load sticker thats usually on the drivers door & the other is under the bonnet thats supposed to have engine tune up & emission details on it! I dont know much about it hence why i need a pic of one!

Never heard of this before? Maybe if it was imported under the old scheme it doesn't have it? Mine doesn't , I only have the wheel and tyre load sticker and a green compliance plaque under the bonnet on the firewall behind the drivers side strut.

Go back and ask the engineer (which one btw) what is the sticker for because I've not known such a sticker to be in the engine bay of any FTO.

The only sticker that needs to be affixed apart from the tyre placard is the import plate/sticker but that doesn't have any info about emissions or "engine tune up" details.

Is he perhaps referring to a QLD mod plate???

Maybe it's a standard thing on most cars, that's why the engineer is asking for it. And maybe it's in Japanese lol.

New system

Post by dstocks »

I got mine done under the new system and all I got was the silver plate to attach to the engine bay. I have a mate that consults on the ADR regs (and has a compliance licence). I can find out off him if its nessesary (or even exists) if you like.

Nah there's nothing like that required under the current SEVS implementation.
