Car seems to be miss firing

Post by jakey106 »

Ok the last two days when i have started my car in the morning it seems to be missing and jerking when i started it today it was doing it but when i turned the car off and back on again. It was fine could this be a computer problem or could it be the spark plugs and leads i have had the car for a year and a half now and i havnt changed the spark plugs yet. Any advice will be great.

I had a similar thing. The car was ruff on first start up but if I drove it then turned it off and started it again all was fine. Turned out to be dirty injectors for me. Just get a bottle of good name brand (for example Wynn's) Injector cleaner and put it in with your next tank and see if that helps. If your real keen get them professionally cleaned by a specialist. The bottle's of cleaner have kept me running fine for a while now.
