3rd Party Warranties

Post by Greg_Kumar »

Hi All,

I will be picking up my Black FTO GPX on saturday morning. I bought it from Racecourse Motors in Randwick. It comes with 3 years warranty. However, this warranty is from a 3rd party. Are they genuine warranties? Are there any catches? Is there anything i need to be aware of?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Greg

They're pretty much useless... i wouldn't worry about it or pay extra for it. They generally cover engine and transmission only and only upto $1000 or so. No cover on chassis or sussy etc. Useless.

i got the same offer and so far havent had to use it but the condition that will keep you busy is that a service every 5000km needs to be completed and a posted record sent to them each time. (this is a good idea neway but getting it down to a science can be inconvenient and doing your own work wont count)
