does this share any common parts with the manual mivec engine? if it goes cheap is it worth buying just in case for spare parts?

The block & box are the same, main difference is the heads (cams) and intake.

I was looking at that. Would go for it myself if I was in VIC. Manual box is worth a bit by Itself (as long as moisture hasnt got into it).
