Agreed, and with a little fiddle with the code for that block, managed to get it to display the photo owner too :) although all the state pics come up as Gallery Administrator, the personal shots show the persons name. Also pulled the image file name display out as well. Some people have filthy long filenames for their shots & when one came up, the box streched wider to fit it & squished the forums.

Also fixed the front page so we can put pics back into news articles. For security reasons, they pulled "img" out of the allowable HTML code on the latest Nuke releases.

I RESEMBLE THAT... hang on, what? RESENT.

I'm not a code bitch. I'm a photoshop gimp. I get fed once a day then stuck back in my box for when I'm "required to service something" ... "or someone".

Ben you sure there isn't a bunch of colour settings in the administration side of this theme? The css is very lacking and the template files themselves have CSS that seems to make use of the Simple Template System... or something very similar.

ie.:

body {
background-color: {T_BODY_BGCOLOR};
scrollbar-face-color: {T_TR_COLOR2};
scrollbar-highlight-color: {T_TD_COLOR2};
scrollbar-shadow-color: {T_TR_COLOR2};
scrollbar-3dlight-color: {T_TR_COLOR3};
scrollbar-arrow-color: {T_BODY_LINK};
scrollbar-track-color: {T_TR_COLOR1};
scrollbar-darkshadow-color: {T_TH_COLOR1};
}

The php replaces that with actual values... as far as I'm aware. I'm about to duck out for shopping... might just install the whole damned thing on my server and see what exactly is in the admin side of things when I get back :D

Yeah nah... its odd, the nuke admin side of things is covered by the template (well... so far as I can see, most of it is pitch black :lol: ) but the forum admin (phpbb or BBtonuke as its called when integrated into Nuke) side of things is still in subsilver (the standard template.)

But your right... i've looked at the subsilver css & its awhole lot more intricate than this theme's one...

I started installing nuke on my mates webserver where I plonk all my trash... and got tired of waiting for it to upload. Decided it was time to wack a version LAMP on my desktop... few hours (woops) later WAMP is running.

Had to get an older version for some reason... the newer ones failed epicly :lol: Xampp had issues too. :? Could be reinstall XP time... grr.

I've got about 3 more nights to fix this stuff before I'm on holidays for a week but I'll be PC FREE. This is to ensure a holiday where the boss wont ring up and say "this needs doing urgently" ... can't do SFA on an iphone ... thank god.

Anyhoo should have this fixed shortly :P I'll have a quick squiz at it now... and make changes tommorow night or so.

So much redundant code in the theme... it's rediculous. There are colours specified in this file and that file haha then the css just overwrites a lot of it anyway. Altho lots of files seem to be deleteable with no detrimental effect to the theme 8O :lol:

Must've had cache issues but updating the CSS should fix all the colour issues apart from the thread history which might boggle me for a moment.

Need sleep will send changes tommorow night (:

lol nah 8.1, but the code changes from 8 to 8.1 would have no effect of the theme, its purely security fixes. I get brownie points from a few of nuke sites for uploading modified code so I dont have to pay for latest releases :)

Haha, and to think, thats a small theme compared to some of the others I've tried. As soon as we get it right, I'll be culling most of the other ones in a bid to keep the file structure as small as possible.

Just perusing one of my Nuke sites & downloading everything in sight before my subscription runs out.

Would anyone use an 'instant messaging' application if I installed it? You can chat direct with whoever is online on this site...
