You might be lucky enough for it to just run out of gas, if it has its$79 or close to that to refill.

I've got the same problem, but my air con condenser is warped/buckled need to see if it will hold the gas.

First up - check the fuse, from there the most common cause (as mentioned) is outta gas, second most common cause is outta gas due to leak in pipework near the front of the car, then start looking to the compressor unit for things like a shot clutch.

I was told you couldn't just replace the clutch, but had to replace the whole compressor (I somehow think thats :bs: ) so ended up getting a second hand compressor & putting it in. Was about $250 from memory.

I haven't heard anything like that. Only common issue I hear seems to be the serious issues people have is they don't use them regularly. Like other cars with similar systems you have to use it to regularly (although I don't know how often that means) to keep the system lubricated. If it's not used for a long time the bearings (?) can seize.

:D Fair enough. Hope it is just gas, in my very limited experience sounds like it. Maybe a leaking hose?
