Hi All,
The Honda NSX-R has a "lightweight" cloth shift boot instead of the standard vinyl/leather that most cars have.
As pictured here
Anyone know exactly what material it is?
I have done some searching and asked Honda but haven't come up with anything.
I don't think it is something I can go down to Spotlight and pick up.
Cheers
Chris

Yep,
The CF bit I have well under control.
It's the mesh cloth that is attached to it that I am trying to find some more details on.
I did find mention by one keen DIY'er that he used black shade cloth!
Cheers

I could be wrong, but I believe that the type of fabric you're looking for is mentioned in the title of the webpage you sent
"NSX-R
mesh shift boot with CF trim"
The best place to start might actually be Spotlight

Just go in & ask if they have any "Mesh" or "Net" material
& do a google search for "mesh material" or "mesh Fabric" "mesh, net fabric" etc... it sohuld give you some results

Errr, thanks, I think.
Done that, otherwise I wouldn't have posted.
Spotlight seemed to have a lot of dress making mesh and netting but nothing as "heavy" as the stuff in the picture.
Not sure what your local store is like but there seems to be a serious lack of helpful staff in Hobart.
Cheers
