Northshore Mitsubish is no longer!

Post by Bennoz »

Well... they're still selling cars, but they have sold off the parts business!

So for those of you who were sourcing genuine parts from them, you now have to go to Hunter Holden (also in St Leonards.)

New number is 02 8198 1881

I've just tried to call but all lines were busy. Going to see if they have CAPS up & running yet & to try & get some bits.

I'm currently dealing with Northshore Mits in sourcing parts for a gearbox recon. Your right Bennoz the parts section has been sold but apparently they're still offering all the parts they used to, just under different management.
In my experience its best just to ask for the parts manager as last time I rang the parts desk they told me they dont do bits for FTO's. Then the parts manager said they do it all the time. WTF.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I've been given the f*cken run around all day today looking for geniune parts, so I thought I'd update this thread for you all.

Hunter Holden now only do Mitsi parts out of St Leonard, the Ryde shop has stopped doing Mitsi.
The St Leonards shop have apparently lost their 'import CD' from CAPS when they upgraded to ASA... so very little help there.

Alto Ford apparently does Mitsi import parts, but apparently he could help me either

Finally I just started ringing dealerships to find out where they get there bits. Went through about 10 dealerships before I found 2 places that do FTO parts.

1. Lander Nissan in Prospect - 2/19 Rowood Rd, Prospect - 8822 4511
2. Col Crawford in Brookvale - Pittwater Rd, Brookvale - 9941 1200

What a hassle!

Yeah I know, but this was just for a couple of suspension bushes (common to a Lancer) at $10 bucks a pop. More the convenience of being able to pop into a local outlet that has things like that in stock.

I work at City Ford Arncliffe and the guy in charge of the Mitsubishi department said that we are able to source FTO parts. Very pricey though from the sounds of it.

    Just another option

Try Steve at Alto Parts in North Ryde - 9855-4999.

That's where I've generally got parts from if I have to go local genuine, no probs with FTO parts (except price..)
