Well, Im one of them. Been playing with Mitsi Mirage/Lancer Coupes for a while but thinking an FTO would be a good base for my next project.... partly coz they are cheap :D

Anyone done a 4WD conversion on here? Ive nearly completed mine on my 2000 CE Lancer Coupe.

have a look in the turbo section, there's plenty of half finished projects there lol, as for AWD i dont think so, but please please please let me know all the details of your CE lancer conversion, i'm looking at doing it now to a fto rolling shell (it should be rolling up to my front door next weekend :D )

There's potential for a thread about anything on FTO Australia

Haha, yeah Ive seen them  Ive been reading the site for a while now just had trouble registering and didnt really have anything to post.

You can see some pics of my car build on the link below but Ive got heaps more detailed pics if you need them:

From what Ive heard, FTO's are no different to Lancer/Mirages in the rear so the conversion would almost be identical to mine although I chose not to weld in a 4WD boot floor. I was quite surprised to find that although my car is the same shape as the Evo 4/5/6, it was probably closer to the Evo 1/2/3 setup so thats what I went with - the boot floor and diff hangar/fuel tank mount crossmember was identical between generations. I'd be happy to help in any way as Im also very set on doing the same conversion when I get an FTO... I wanna run a 4G93 Mivec Turbo though 8)
