Interest Wanted: HID head lights.
Hello guys,
If there are more than 3 people buying, I can source an Japan brand HID for $950. If more than 5 people then $900.
There is also a Taiwan brand and this one is about more than 3 people is $900 and more than 5 people $850.
Let me know what you think..
If we do get the numbers I might even be able to get a little bit better deals...depending on how many of you guys want it.
Let me know.
Cheers,

not 100% sure on the vehicle based ones, but in pro lighting, filament lamps especially high brightness ones are rated in terms of hundres of hours, or only in 10s of hours for the seriously bright lamps (note to anyone using the "50% brighter" halogen lamps, they're only 1/3 or less of the usual lamp life) discharge lamps are measured in the 1000s of hours, typically 2-3000 hours minimum, although seeing ratings of 6000+ is not unusual. Their long life is also the reason the replacement lamps alone are worth a fortune.

I think, HB4 is the new name for 9006.
As after fto12345 clearify the different between H4 & 9006, i went to check some of my lights bulb box, & notice mine is HB4 not H4.

Yes the HB4s are the same as the 9006 which are your low beam light bulbs... Your high beam light bulbs are the 9005.
The H4s are the big thick bulbs that have two filaments in them.
9006 and 9005 all have only one filament in the bulb and it's quite thin and small.
The actual sockets to fit these bulbs are all different. You cannot try and fit a 9006 into a 9005 socket, let alone try to fit an H4.
I guess they don't make different types of bulbs to just confuse you...
So the H4 HID would be more expensive as they have to be used for two purposes, low beam and high beam...
Hope this helps.
